Enhancing the Travel Planning Experience with Conversational Gen AI at Evaneos

At Evaneos, I worked on integrating Generative AI into the user experience through a conversational interface. The goal was to explore how AI-driven interactions could enhance the way users plan their trips by providing personalized insights and recommendations.

To ensure a user-centric approach, I conducted user tests to understand travelers’ needs and expectations. Based on these insights, I designed and iterated on multiple prototypes, testing different conversational flows to determine the most intuitive and engaging experience.

Following the Lean UX methodology, I analyzed real-world data from the interface in production. This allowed me to iterate quickly, refining the AI assistant’s tone, content, and interaction model to align with user preferences.

A key focus was identifying the preferred mode of interaction for users when planning their trips. By leveraging insights from testing and production data, we optimized the AI’s responses to provide relevant, engaging, and useful travel suggestions, enhancing both efficiency and user satisfaction.

This project helped validate the role of conversational AI in travel planning while ensuring the solution remained both functional and delightful to use.
